…, the resin’s brillance provokes a mirroring effect which integrates the viewer into the work, and which inscribes his body within the heart of these places that, at that moment, become the temporary framework of his experience and of his life. Thus, all of Michel Huelin’s paintings function as an interface, a receptacle above and beyond an initially photographic projection, a receptacle for the reflection of whoever approaches.

I began by pouring pots of paint on thin plastic sheets, in successive layers, all monochrome but of different colors. The lamination of the paint films thus obtained is then detached from the initial support to obtain a pure paint skin. Free of any support, the painting is configured in the exhibition space.
